As Officer Commanding West Mercian Wing Air Training Corps, I welcome you to our website. Whether you are browsing as a 13 to 20 year old, maybe contemplating joining as a cadet, or an adult possibly wishing to offer your services, you may be already a cadet from the Wing or further afield or, have just happened upon our site, you are all equally welcome.

The Wing lives up to the Corps motto of “Venture Adventure” in every sense of the word. My cadets and staff can be found participating in “serious fun” throughout the year, whether it is flying, gliding, going on camps, taking part in all kinds of action, adventure and sports. The feeling of camaraderie is
out of this world; our activities are stimulating, rewarding and great fun too. As you explore our site you will discover what might be missing from your life and how much is on offer. If you live in the West Mercian Wing area, you too could be enjoying yourself with us!

I am very privileged to command West Mercian Wing and am extremely proud of our achievements, commitment and the loyalty of the cadets, staff and committee who strive to ensure success in all that we participate.
